Baby is finally here!!!! Super Long post

So here is my birth story. Was so impatient never thought i would get here. It felt like i would be pregnant forever. I had a reg F/U scheduled for wed. Well at 39+4 Monday i call MD office n request a sono. My water had been borderline low n i wanted to be sure everything was still ok since amnio tends to decrease the further in pregnancy. I got scheduled for sono the following morning. DH is a vet n was scheduled an MD visit on the Wednesday in a city 2 hours away n wanted me to go w him. He said it couldnt be rescheduled bcuz the VA is funny like that. Newho so i figured if sono was fine i would go w hubby even though doc advised against it. At this point I'd had no indication of impending labor except for some light crampiness n occasional BH. No bloody show, nothing. So sono starts n instantly know something is wrong when tech keeps asking how far along i am n asking if i am 36 wks or 39. I start to panic, is everything ok. Nurse tells me they cannot interpret sono n i will need to stay n see Doc. 30 mins later Doc explains to me that i have Intrauterine Growth Restriction IUGR n he needs to check if i am dilating bcuz baby needs to be delivered. So i end up being completely closed. He says go now to the hospital. Do not pass go, do not collect $200, go now. I was then started on cytotec suppositories every 4 hrs at 1130 am on 12/20. It didnt seem to be working. I stayed at 1cm n firm all that day. Started having mild contractions. At 8 am 12/21 i was at 3. Mind u its my 3rd baby had never been induced so it should have been fast both doc n i thought. At 8am doc ruptures my amniotic sac to get things going n starts pitocin. Things progress rapidly from there. Contractions get super strong n i get an epidural about 1030am. By 1pm i am fully dilated n ready to go. I had a bad reaction to epidural, legs felt like lead n tingling like crazy but too numb to move. For some reason i started to have a bad anxiety n start to panic. The epidural stops working n i feel horrible, horrible pressure n pain in my nether regions. But thankfully OB n Pedi team r set up n ready n i deliver my AnnaSofia, my 1st baby girl in just a few pushes at 130pm 12/21. Sadly my husband was at his appointment out of town n missed her birth but she is here n she is 100% healthy thank God n i am so thankful for that!
