I'm thinking about asking to be induced..

So I'm just a day away from 38 weeks. I can do an elective induction at 39 weeks.. I was induced with my first. Everything went fine. No matter what I'm going to experience labor and pains and it's going to suck but be worth it all. I'm getting impatient, I don't want a Christmas baby at all. But I guess I'm just looking for advice. Do you think I should wait and see if my body goes on its own? Or should I go for another induction? I'd love to experience labor by itself with no medical inductions and what not but I also can't seem to be patient... Has anyone here electively induced? What made you decide? Also it'd be nice to give my boss a day that I'm leaving and when I'll return from my non paid leave... I like plans. But spontaneous birth doesn't let you plan a whole lot... I feel lost about this and what to do.
