Gestational diabetes

Well had my 3 hour glucose test yesterday and it sucked. I had a massive headache and dizziness for the first hour after drinking that crap. I started to feel better and went home to then crash with low sugar, shakiness and sweating. My next appt is the Tuesday after Christmas so I just thought I'd wait for the results. However, they called today and gave me the news that i have gestational diabetes again. I had it 6 +yrs ago with my son, so I knew it was a high likelihood of it happening again but I was hoping it would be different this time. Ugh. I'm just disappointed in myself a little bit even tho I was kind of expecting it.
