lower back ache at 8 weeks pregnant?

I am experience a twinge like sensation at the bottom of my middle back (feels like I may have a period). It doesn't hurt at all so can't say it's pain and I'm not experiencing any bleeding or severe cramps but a this normal?

It's normal from what my Dr told me when I was experiencing that pain. She said it's basically from your uterus stretching, ligament pain or both but from what your saying to me it sounds like your having growing pains from your uterus growing. You'll experience that your whole pregnancy. To be on the safe side ask your Dr just to make sure. Better to be safe than sorry. You know. Wish you all the best in your pregnancy. Enjoy it cause it goes faster than you think. It doesn't seem that long ago I found out I was pregnant and here I am 24 weeks exactly and my baby boy is getting so big and strong and I'm enjoying every moment of it. :-) Hope u have a wonderful Christmas and New Year's.

Yep. Had period like ache in my back and abdomen for about 3 weeks around the time you are now. Try not to stress. It'll pass
