"That's a man's job"
My husband and I rent an older house, and we use propane to heat it. He took one of the empty tanks to work in the back of his truck, and when I was done with work, I drove over to the shop he parks at, jumped in his truck and headed out to go fill the tank. His windshield was so dirty, I could barely see. The wipers didn't work, so I stopped at the gas station to clean it off. After I was done and got back in my car, I went to Walmart to get him some new windshield wipers. I checked online, called AutoZone, and looked up in the book what size wipers his truck needed. I bought him a set and told him, and said how I hope they're the right size, I checked several times to make sure. Y'all, he said, and I quite: "That's why it's a man's job." I said excuse me? Why are picking out windshield wipers a "man's job?" He said, "well I would have just taken the one off, gone into the store, and matched it." I said so? To which he asked if I even knew how to take wipers off. I {sarcastically} said "gee sweet wife, thanks for caring about my safety and well-being, and getting these for me!" I was literally so mad and shocked, I just got up and walked away. 🙄 *end rant*
