Slightly in need of sex advice

Okay, so my boyfriend told me he basically really wants to eat me out, which honestly I've never had happen before and I've been avoiding it for awhile because I'm a bit shy about that. So as embarrassing and stupid as it seems to ask, is there anything I can do during this, what exactly can/should I expect, or might anyone have personal experiences that might help? I really don't want to come of as novice and inexperienced, so anything will help, thank you!
