Insecurity

So Ive been having a "thing" with a guy, we"ve hung out as friends for a long time and still do just also with sex now, neither of us knows right now what we want, as in a relationship or friends with benefits. So anyway he says things like he wants my nipples pierced (I do too) and wants genital piercings on me and other things that he likes he wants me to have and its making me feel insecure because I dont have all the things he thinks is hot with girls, like the other day I was in doggy style position and he was about to eat me out and he said oh yeah, that would be great pierced and I didnt say anything about it I just said mhm because kinda want it and also dont wanna ruin it cuz he was gonna eat my pussy lol. Im going to talk to him about it but am I being reasonable by feeling insecure about myself when hes saying these things he wants me to have, I feel like he thinks Im not good enough and that he thinks I need improvements then Ill be (more) attractive. Part of my insecurity I think is because I recently got out of a relationship with somebody pleased with how I was and dodnt want the things he does and would compliment me a lot and more often than this guy does.
