Cough medicine for my 3m3w old ?!

Is there anything I can give my 3m3w old son for a cough? His pediatrician is out til Tuesday.. help !

There aren't any cough/cold medicines that are actual medications (zarbees is an all natural "supplement") for children under 4 to 6 years old. They were all taken off the market about 8 years ago due to them causing drug overdoses and the fact that cough medicines that work in older kids and adults don't work in babies and young children because their bodies metabolize them differently
