how to recover from drugs?

Question

I am really not in a state where I can read some stupid and rude comments about my husband so just don't even start. 
My husband just started taking drugs again, he was clean for 2 years but we had such a hard time the past year I actually thought he'd go back to taking drugs earlier. 
He had cancer, 4 cousins of mine passed away due to the war in Iraq, they were like my brothers we all including my husband grew up in the same neighborhood. 
A few weeks after that our daughter passed away at 32 weeks. 
I know it's not a reason to take drugs again but I can actually somehow understand him.
He never wanted any help so he somehow managed to get clean by himself but this time I don't think it will work. 
He's in the music business so in the public eye and going to rehab would not just ruin his career but also we don't want our kids to read about such stuff on the internet when they're older.
What are other options? I'm so lost I've googled but I honestly still don't know.
I know we're not supposed to post anonymous but I don't want to show everyone who I am.

I used to be addicted to opiates and alcohol. Quitting was hard but I find you can only successfully do it when you're ready. I know that sounds cliche probably but it's true.

There's absolutely nothing you can do. He has to come to recovery on his own. Most addicts never get and stay clean though. More harm will come to you and your children by staying with an active addict than reading something on the Internet. Kids aren't stupid and you're putting them in harms way if you stay.

AA meetings. Making routines. Rewarding himself for days sober. Your support. These are just potential ideas; I've never helped someone through recovery.

As my mother (a recovered drug addict) put it; no one can get better until they're ready to. And even then, it rarely happens on the first, or even fifth, try. Just keep trying. Offer him your love and support. Suggest, perhaps, that he see someone privately.

Rehab? My uncle was meant to be doing it, but can't for other reasons. If it's real bad, he could go to a rehab farm, I guess the first thing he should be doing is speaking to a doctor of professional about his options and go from there.

I'm in a similar situation. I'm at my wits end. On one hand I understand his excuses for the drug use, but on the other hand it's just getting out of control. It's not even hard drugs, it's weed, but EVERYTHING is revolving around it. He won't go to treatment bc he doesn't think he has a problem. It's weed, so to him it's not an addiction. I'm coming to my breaking point bc we have a 3 year old and I'm 37 weeks pregnant, but within the past few weeks especially he's not making us a priority at all. He's putting his habit first.

Praying for you guys. That's a lot for anyone to handle... it's definitely not easy and he has to want it, but your unconditional love will make a world of difference. Through better or worse. Hang in there, l know it's hard.
