Should I go through with getting my tattoo?

I am currently 19 and a freshman in college. Every since 7th grade, I have wanted a tattoo in honor of my friend who passed away. Although now, just before my appointment, I am starting to doubt. I love the design and I know the artist will do awesome work but I worry. I don't know what it is, the thought just makes me uneasy. I have no idea what to do. I'm not sure if I'm doubting the tattoo itself, or the nerves are getting to me. Someone please help 😭

I was nervous just before the appointment but I went through with it and I'm happy. I was just nervous about the experience because I didn't know what to expect

If you have any doubt then don't go through with it. I have a couple, including a huge thigh piece so I'm not anti-tattoo at all. Just make sure you're 100% about it before you go in.

Hold on to it for a few more years and see how you feel then. Or have it put on you in a henna tattoo and see how you like it after a week or 2 of seeing it on your body ❤❤

I was nervous when I got my tattoo. I had planned it for years, and the night  night before i wanted to call and cancel. It's normal, but if you if feel way too uneasy about it, then wait another year until you feel ready

Im 20 years old and i have 8 tattoos now. The important thing is the tattoo should be meaningful to you . You will carry that ink with you forever so you have to be sure but i believe that you should go for it cause it cant be anymore special as that :)

While you should feel confident with your decision, I would just like to say that I have two memorial tattoos for friend that have passed away and I have never regretted them. I look at them every day and think of the bond I had with those two amazing ladies and I draw strength and happiness from them.  As long as you feel confident in your design and your artist, I say go for it! 
It's normal to be nervous and it will hurt. Lol
However, what you'll gain from it is a beautiful tribute to your friend.

tattoos don't hurt that bad. Don't be nervous about getting one because of pain. Hopefully that will ease your mind a little. If it doesn't....then you are probably doubting having a tattoo. I would not go through with it then. You have probably heard it many times but it will be there forever. Any doubt don't do it because you don't want to feel regret in your life
