My doctor prescribed me a medicine called dicliges and it help SOOOO much. It's only been approved for use in the states for about 5 years. My daughter came out very healthy and just fine so it is safe I can attest to that. I had it until about 19 weeks and that medicine was the only reason I wasn't hospitalized.

If it's really bad look into a zofran pump. I'm currently 30 weeks and have had one since about 12 weeks after being hospitalized. I've had hyperemesis with all 3 of my pregnancies and have used a pump for all 3 and my first two had no complications whatsoever from it. My third currently has no issues and will be due in 7 weeks. It got so bad that my dr took me out of work and never gave me clearance to return so I ended up having to resign.

I tried zofran in pill form, phenegren, promethazine, B6 and diclegis and nothing gave me relief. I also lost over 15 pounds and have only gained back 2 of them. I'm way smaller now than when I started off pregnant. The pump really does help, I still get nauseous at times and I still vomit occasionally but it's way better than the 15+ times it was happening on a daily basis. I was to the point where I wasn't even eating because I was afraid of throwing it back up and how painful it was getting to be. I'd research it and maybe mention it to your dr and see what their opinion is.

I have to agree with the first comment!! My last two pregnancies I have been taking diclegis!! I took it with my last pregnancy till I deliveried and I am currently 29 weeks pregnant now and still take it!! Best thing ever because if not I would be in the hospital! I was hospitalized at 7 weeks for a week both pregnancies!

I lost like 2kgs so I was given 5000ml of fluid in hospital and sent home with cyclizine,ranitidine and thiamine once I could eat something! She says your appetite will come back you and you'll get a craving, but if your body's telling you no then don't eat cause apparently it makes you sicker, I'm eating all day medicine 3 times a day and I'm feeling stable, hungry but stable :) good luck I hope you all find relief xxx

I'm on two different meds promethazine and generic zofran. Third pregnancy worst morning sickness EVER been on it since around 8 weeks too I'm almost 14 weeks and trying to go with out em and nope starts right back up with dry heaving and puking
