How To Comfort A Woman In Labor

My sister in law is being induced right now and my brother was freaking out so bad he couldn't come up to the hospital because he was freaking her out too. So until he calls down enough to join her here, it's my job... But the thing is I barely know her, she's rarely indicated liking me, and she has a horrible attitude most of the time. But she's scared and I'm the only one here for her. She's a first time mom and I'm a first time aunt with no experience on helping calm a woman in labor.
