Mirena IUD questions?? help!!

So I have the mirena iud I've had it for about two months now I had bleeding lightly for the first month constantly and really had cramping really bad, then the cramps subsided for a while, but now I'm experiencing my first period with my mirena and I'm lightly bleeding it's a light flow but my cramps are awful they come and go but they hurt so much! I also so have a cyst but my gynocolgesist wanted to wait to see if it gets smaller. So any suggestions? Thanks!
