can cinnamon make you abort or go into early labor ?

So, just right now I just finish eating a warm cinnamon roll, after I ate it my mom attacked me saying that cinnamon can make you abort ?!?!? Now I'm really concern 😔

What do you mommies think about this ?

Never heard of that, I have eaten plenty of cinnamon rolls this pregnancy. That is such a common spice that if it did it would be common knowledge.

No hun. It can't make you loose your baby. Cinnamon essential oil can tho but that is an extremely high concentration of cinnamon just like Rosemary oil. It too can make you loose your baby but not the herb in cooking. You would have to eat quite a lot of cinnamon to harm baby, like spoonfuls of the stuff.

Never heard of that before that actually sounds pretty ridiculous.. The only things you should really be concerned about eating are things that are raw or unpasterized, some experts also suggest to avoid deli meats as well. You can easily Google foods to not eat while pregnant and I can guarantee cinnamon  will not be on that list

That's absolutely ridiculous. I love cinnamon and I eat it all the time - still pregnant at 36 weeks! I hate when people scare expecting mothers with nonsense like that! My mother in law, who I do love dearly, is one of those people always striking fear into the hearts of others, lol! All with the best intentions I'm sure...🙄

Some cultures believe that. Mine does my mom would kill me if I where around cinnamon lol.
The old Brujas make concoctions to abort babies with herbs and stuff so it's not a far fetch idea. It's why you're told to stay easy from herbal mixed teas because they don't know what certain mixtures do.
