Question

I'm 18 and pregnant and don't know what I want to do with my life and I feel like this is my only choice but I don't want give full guardianship to my ex... Is their anyway i can go around that or any ideas or suggestions about what I can do ? 
I have no other family that can take the baby ..

You can't go into BCT (basic combat training) as a single parent in the Army. I would imagine that that's the way with the whole military. I would get married to someone platonically if this is something you really want! And if you have any questions, you can ask me! I'm in the National Guard until I'm done with college and then I'm joining the Navy as a trauma surgeon!

Please don't join the military if you aren't 100% certain you want to and would be happy doing so. It's a job, not a way out or something to give you benefits and free schooling. Make sure it's the right decision for you.

Single parent in the military you have to give up your rights in the beginning . Get married to a friend* someone to watch your child while your away at training then you can have your child back.. don't tell them that your married to a friend tho. I don't know much about the guard. I do know being a single parent in the army is difficult without family, you have field and training that will require hours outside of "normal" daycare hours.
