Hcg and blood tests" />

My last period was Dec 1st putting me due for my next period around Dec 30/31st ! I am currently 8DPO today as I ovulated late (had a positive opk on Dec 19th). My question is would a blood test be able to tell if I'm forsure pregnant right now or could it still be incorrect if it comes back negative ?
