Husband is delusional?

My husband and I just recently started really TTC. So the past couple nights, we had our scheduled BDing. He tells me how weird it is to "try" to get pregnant because "people our age don't try; it just happens."

We aren't teenagers... I'm 26!  I love him so much, but he obviously doesn't have any idea about this whole TTC thing! Bless his heart...

What's the funniest/most ridiculous thing your man has said to you about TTC?

The US educational system is sadly lacking... It's pathetic how many kids and subsequently adults don't understand how their own bodies work. Both sexes need to be educated about the function of the other so we can all make responsible choices, it's not really complicated. Don't rely on health class, educate your kids at home.

My husband would get pretty upset if I went pee after he finished because he actually thought I was letting all the sperm out. I had to explain to him that the sperm was already well on its way before he even stops cumming. 😂

My partner didn't know that you have a fertile window when you are more likely to conceive. I've had to teach him the way of the period and ovulation cycle. He kinda of gets it but does come up with some funny stuff. He likes to think that he has 'super sperm' and they survive for days and days so he reckons if we have sex at any point before ovulation, I'm likely to get pregnant ahah!

He didn't believe me when I tried to explain the fertile window and there's actually only a few days out of the month where you can get pregnant. He told me that if that was true then nobody would have any babies lol

Yeah my husband is pretty clueless too and wanted to just have a "if it happens it happens" approach until I told them that at best we have a 30% chance during a 24 hour window each month to get pregnant. He kind of understands why I want to get ovulation strips for my next window of opportunity.

I wouldn't say your husband is delusional. 26 is still very young and if you are just starting to try there's no reason to think that  if you have sex during your fertile window that it won't just happen. I'd just have fun for the first few months
