do I test again?

I was supposed to get my period on Christmas. I got it Wednesday of the week before (4 days early), but it only lasted 2 days (and some spotting for about 2 days after) and it was only brown/dark red blood-no clots.  I also had a terrible headache and a little nausea. I tested on Monday (1 day after period was supposed to come) and it was negative. I am still a little nauseous so I was wondering if it was worth testing again? Or just assume that was my period last week and try again next month?
