Thoughts on piercing babies ears?

Complete agenst it not my body not my choice wrong to put them threw the pain just because we think it's cute. I will never do any of my kids they can do it when they won't if they wont to. I was at the mall the other day and seen 2 people do there little ones. Them screaming blood murder none stop I lost it crying so glade I didn't put my little one threw it

Yes because thats how it is in our culture. We are hispanic and Ive also heard that East Indian and Arabic people do this too. To me its not wrong its just different for different families/communities.

I personally think it looks weird and come on, it's a baby, it doesn't need holes in its ears! It's cute anyway.

Nope. If my child wants their ears pierced when they're old enough to ask for it we'll go get it done at a tattoo/piercing place, not a place in the mall with untrained teens using a piercing gun.

I think it would be fine get it done when they are young. My mom got mine done when I was 6 months old. I love my pierced ears and have gotten them pierced 3 more times. But to each their own.

I had my ears pierced as a baby and had my daughter ears pierced at the dr office. They cry for a little bit just like a shot. It's not bloody murder, WTH 😳🙄!?

I'm considering it.  I have really annoying keloids (got mine pierced at 12 and they developed after a couple of months, and according to some medical sources keloid development can be genetic) and apparently the younger you get their ears pierced there is less chance of keloids developing.  The pediatrician office I'm considering does them one at a time as an in office procedure for babies over 3 months old.  It's pricey but might be worth it, idk.

I was 7 when I had mine done, and hated it. I still do. So much hassle, especially with sensitive skin and only being able to wear 24kt gold. I won't be doing my daughter's.
