SPOTTING?!?!?!..........help...

Hey ladies I'm currently 6 weeks2 days I had what I believed to be some implantation bleeding about a week ago and I just went to the bathroom and my discharge was tinted a light pink. This is my first and don't know if this is ok. It it normal to have some spotting here and there?? It's always just the one time I use the bathroom and this is the second time. There's never any serious cramping but today I didn't have any cramping. I just want to know if this is ok. Thank you in advance.

Spotting isn't "normal" but it's common. The doctor/midwife will tell you not to worry unless it's bright red; large clots; very heavy flow ( 1 pad/hour), and/or severe cramps.

Some cramping is normal because your uterus is stretching.

As someone who went to the ER with every little spotting episode - I know where you're coming from.

Call the doctor or triage if it makes you feel better but I bet you're ok.

It could be implantation, you could've ovulated late- like I did- but you never know. I would call you OB in the morning or triage/ER if you start to spot more or feel too worried to sleep.

I'm going to bet it's alright. If the bleeding gets any heavier at all or the spotting is followed with heavy cramps, go to the ER immediately.

I had light pink spotting around seven weeks and some brown discharge in the days following but it was after sex so that can cause spotting. My doc said to just call back if it's bright red or large amounts. It seems very common to have some spotting.
