First appointment urine sample salt

I have just had my first appointment with my midwife at 9 weeks. She took my bloods and told me to take a urine sample. So I did (I regularly get kidney infections, water infections and utis as I am prone to them) but for the first time ever I've taken a sample and there was clear cubes in my urine it looked as though salt was in it... any ideas what this could be/mean?
