Why can't I get pregnant!

Question

I have one son, who is 6. I had no problems getting pregnant with him. (I was even taking birth control, I wasn't even trying to get pregnant). I stopped taking my birth control 4-5 months ago and I am still not pregnant! I know people can try for years and not conceive, but I'm feeling really defeated. Am I doing something wrong? Is there something wrong with me? All these questions going through my head.

i feel the same way. my husband and i are ttc #1 since june. nothing is working, i feel so defeated every month AF shows up or i get a negative test. my husband says it will happen when it happens but thay makes it worse. i don't know what to do. i thought i was having implantation bleeding today while at work and then i got home and it was AF. 😰my own brother and his girlfriend are having a baby and were not trying. i'm very upset about it and i guess pretty jealous that it's not me.

Give it time and try to stop stressing because stress can be a factor as to why you are not conceiving. If you think something could be wrong, maybe go get some fertility testing done. Although you should try for another 6 months before you do that.

We can not diagnose you. You need to contact a doctor. Most won't see you until you have been trying at least a year though.

I feel your pain! I'm TTC #1 which is making me even more concerned about my fertility.  I have come off BC which I was on for 6 years and I'm only on month 3 but every month I go through a kind of, I am ready I'm not ready kind of thing. I'm not sure if that's self preservation so that I'm not disappointed if we haven't managed to get pregnant or if it's me not being truly ready... but are you ever????
