At what age do babies seem to wana sit up on their own?

My baby is 4 MO when I lay her down she kind of uses her elbows to push herself and get up. Or I will grab her hands and she uses my hand to get up. Was wondering at how many MO do babies really start getting up on their own?

My babies have sat up on their own between 6-8 months. Was different for all three.

Every baby is different if they are strong enough to sit up they will want to sit up, so I would keep practicing with her

Depends on the baby. Every baby is different. But at 4 months it's common for them to want to be more Mobile. They probably won't actually get moving on their own for a few more months, but you will notice baby getting closer to crawling. It's a slow learning process. She has to figure out how to get to her hands and knees, and then how to move herself forward once she's there.
