When should I clean my apartment? Like mop,sweep,dust & organize??

It's just me and my bf we hardly do anything so I'm not sure if it needs that much cleaning.

I'd say every week, my cousin has major OCD and sweeps, mops, and wipes down everything in her house like twice a day but her house is gorgeously clean

Every week should be just fine. You probably do have to keep certain surfaces clean more often though, like kitchen counters where there is usually a lot of food on them, especially if there are visible crumbs or spills.

I do things weekly but I also hire a local maid not because I can't do it but because she is kind and struggling to pay for a divorce.

Weekly is probably plenty for just a family of two. :) I like to wipe down kitchen counters and bathroom counter every few days with those Clorox wipes

You should probably vacuum and clean main surfaces more often than anything else. That's something I would do at least. 😬
