Postpartum shaving ?

I'm 11 days postpartum and  as you could imagine  it's hairy down there as much as it's ever been I've always been very clean down there .
So the hair is bothering me and making me uncomfortable and itchy .
I have no stitches and ripped very little 
And still bleeding lightly 
When would it be safe too shave ?

I shaved on day 12. I tore pretty badly and have stitches. I didn't use shaving cream, just shaved underwater and was careful not to snag my stitches by accident.

Whenever you want. Just be careful around the tear. I shaved 2 weeks after, mainly because I was still bleeding and I was just too tired to stand there to shave. I prefer to sit on the floor and shave if it's going to take a while!

I'd say whenever you feel comfortable enough to shave. I wouldn't shave near your stitches as they may not be completly dissolved yet.
