How far along should I be before I tell?

Ok Mamas out there I need some major advice. How far along we're you before you announced you were pregnant to you children and when you told everyone in general?

I am five weeks along and the only people that know are 3 of my best friends, their spouses, my immediate family, my in laws immediate family, and that's it so far.

It's been so hard after trying all this time and now finally being pregnant I just want to stand on the highest mountain top and scream it.

I feel like that should be a personal choice between the mother and the father. There's no right way or right time to announce. It's all in the comfort of the parents.

My 3 yo was the one to tell me I was pregnant lol but I confirmed it once I got a ultrasound when she could kinda tell it was a baby. Maybe around 12 weeks if the kids are small that way you can give them more time to adapt.

I have a few  friends  ive told, not even  parents or in laws.. they will know at 11 weeks everyone else 13 weeks just because  thats how it works  out

We told our parents and siblings at 8 weeks after the blood test (we had a positive HPT at 4 weeks).  Told everyone else at 13 weeks once the risks decreased.

It's your decision and its subjective to everyone. We told our parents and close friends after we confirmed the pregnancy and saw a heartbeat at 8 weeks, but we waited until I was 15 weeks before we told everyone else.

My sister in law waited until 16 weeks at least to tell her children bc they were old enough to comprehend things but young enough that she also didn't want to have to try and explain if she had miscarriage.  I'm pretty sure they were 10 almost 12.  Bc there would be a lot of why did you lose the baby and she didn't want them to go through that.  As far as other people it's your choice! I'm waiting for people to ask with #2 outside of immediate family and my boss (family at 13 weeks boss at 14).  Our first we told family much earlier after hearing the heartbeat and everyone else around 12/13 weeks

I don't keep in contact with a lot of people. I found out I was pregnant at eight weeks. As soon as I got my positive test, we told my parents, my sister, my fiancé's parents, and his brother.
