Pump breastmilk and formula.. Do you mix both?

For those that pump and give formula too supplement . Do you mix both? Or do you give one bottle breastmilk only then next feeding is formula only?

You can mix them but if your baby doesn't eat all of it, you have to throw it away in an hour. If you do them separately, you can save the uneaten breast milk for later.

I don't make nearly enough for my LO, I add 1-2 ounces of breast milk  in each bottle feeding.  Have never had a problem.  I like that she gets some breast milk consistently throughout the day.

Depends. I've done half and half or either or. She's good either way. I'm giving her what I can

To me, I feel like mixing formula into my breastmilk is kind of defeating the purpose and I don't understand the benefit of doing that (unless baby needs to gain more). So I bf all day except for one bottle of formula, in anticipation of going back to work. When I pump I freeze it.

I pumped for a while and my doctor told me I could mix if I wanted to do I used to do an ounce of each or you could do it seperately whatever baby likes :)
