Baby Eczema?

Question

I'm pretty sure this is baby eczema, it's only on his cheeks/forehead/part of scalp. Always quite dry but occasionally becomes red and sore looking like pic on the left. Both these pics were taken on same day. Any advice on best products to use and how to prevent? Thanks

Well my girl is 4 month old and got bad Eczema. But she has cows milk protein allergy as well. Which doesn't helps. I really don't know what works with her at the moment.i hope you get something which will work for your baby.

I use the Aveeno Baby Eczema Therapy and it cleared up my daughters eczema on her legs in 2 days!

She scratches a lot we just bought cetaphil I have tried almost all lotions already but that one works more then orhers

Following! I just went to the doc and she confirmed it was the same: cortisone cream and aquaphor were suggested but I was wondering if there was anything else. I saw some stuff I bought today at walmart. Haven't used it yet but I'm gonna try... I'll post a pic tomorrow of the stuff. I was also thinking burts bees might have some good stuff for this

Dry weather sucks, so I found running the humudifier helps. I use the Honest Co. healing ointment. I apply it to her cheeks generously multiple times a day.

Aveeno eczema cream and shampoo is really good and use no fragrance detergent to wash his clothes

My pedterican recommend Vaseline . We got the cocoa butter kind and it cleared my baby's face up over night!

My son is 3 months and has the same issue. Only on his cheeks an chin. We bought a humidifer. Tried ever over the counter cream i could find to clear it up. Nothing work...if it started to work, it would get almost cleared an then hes have a bad flare up an Id have to start all over again. His poor face was red and open. Weeping an crusting...was totally breaking my heart. The doctor finally prescribed us a cream called Elidel. It was expensive but its working so good. And less bathing. I only sponge bath now and it helps alot too.                                                                            Thats his poor face before. And the second one is after. Ezcema is so tricky. It can come back so quick. Once you find something that works ya gotta just keep on it.

Just tried a shop brand cream for eczema prone skin as health visitor said often these are the best as don't add unnecessary ingredients to product. It helps a little but doesn't stay moisture for long. Think will try aveeno for baby. I have the adult one and really like it. Thanks for all advice. X
