surprise gender, or no????

Linda • 23, married, 3rd pregnancy, but first baby that stuck 😊🌈🎀
I always liked the idea of not finding out the baby's gender, and my husband never gives his opinion on anything, so he just agreed, but I finally got him to give his honest opinion about it, and he says he wants to know baby's gender. Now I don't know what to do. He said he can always find out without telling me, but obviously if it's a boy, he will only buy boy things, and if it's a girl, he will only buy girl things. I'm only 9weeks today, but I already feel connected to this baby and love this baby so much. But for him, nothing has changed. I still look the same, and other than a little nausea and loss of appetite, you'd never even know. So I know him knowing the gender will also allow him to connect to baby a little more. What do you think? Should I be selfish and keep it a surprise? Or find out and keep the next one a surprise?
