My pal violet

Okay so my daughter got a my pal violet from my grandparents for christmas, and today was her first interaction with it. For those of you that dont know, its a leapfrog toy thats a stuffed dog. When you get it, you have to teach the toy your child's name, favorite food, color, and animal, as well as their age. Well, when she turned it on, it said "hi, Kairi!" And my daughter threw it on the ground and ran across the room, crying hysterically. 😂😂😂 I don't think she likes that it knows her name. Anyways, now I have this toy for her that shes afraid of. Should i give it time and see if her feelings about it change?
