Period after Femara

I've been diagnosed with PCOS. After three rounds of clomid and two rounds of femara my husband and I decided to take a break for a while. The following month, after I quit taking medications, I had a period. I've been waiting to see if it would happen again this month and it hasn't. I can't find anything about periods after femara. Has anyone else experienced this? Was it just a fluke period? I'm trying not to get my hopes up.
