My boyfriend takes Paxil daily to treat his severe depression and anxiety. He has decided to wein off of his medication so he can quit taking it altogether. I've only seen him lapse off his medicine once and it was for a week. It was a week of hell for us both, and he was like a completely different person. Does anyone have any advice, experience or anything with a spouse who battles depression, anxiety or bipolar disorder? Can anyone offer insight into Paxil? I'm worried about how this will affect things and want to prepare myself to help him through it and know what to expect.
