How do I know how far I am?

I had a miscarriage back in November the 23rd and I tested positive agian for pregnancy the 17th of December (doc confirmed new pregnancy) I still have to wait 2 more weeks for a u/s after my first appt
But my question is how would I know how far along I am as of now? Would I just count when I started bleeding as cycle day 1 like if it was a period?

I would count the first day of bleeding as day 1 for now since that's really all you have to go off of u til your ultrasound.

I went through this with my son.  Miscarried July 13th BFP august 14th.  They counted the 13th miscarriage as lmp, until the dating ultrasound that's the date they'll use.

So you never had a normal period between your miscarriage and current pregnancy? I'm not quite sure how that would work. I'm sure they will be able to give you at date at your Ultrasound.
