Ovulating more than once a month?

I've taken two ovulation tests that have been positive in the last month. One today and one on Christmas. Both highly positive. Is this normal? I have two different apps that are telling me different timelines for my cycle so I have been taking ovulation tests to try and match up to one of them. How can I figure out my cycle and narrow everything down?

Maybe you got close to ovulating the first time, but didn't release your egg and held onto it until the recent one...

You could try doing bbt as well. Opks only measure hormone surges, not if an egg was truly released

It's not likely. Lh is always in your system fluctuating. You could be having a surge before af or it's picking up hcg which you would test positive on an hpt.

I've heard of that meaning you just didn't ovulate the first time and your body is giving it another go now... or it means you are pregnant. OPKs just test the pre-ovulation chemical so they don't probe you actually ovulate unfortunately. Some people I have read had that and found they were pregnant by s test a few days later though.
