I am due in 2 days and also have an OB appointment that day. If I don't go before then, will she schedule a day to induce me or how does this work now?

It really depends on the doctor honestly. They may set up an induction date, they may not!

It seems a lot of doctors don't like you go past 41 weeks, so she could very well schedule an induction for you for the following week

I think it depends on your provider. With my first 2 they scheduled me to be induced, but I went into labor before induction date. That was with an OB. This time I am with a midwife and they said they will let me go until 42 wks.

I'm 39 weeks today and I won't have another appointment until 1/5 which will make me 39 weeks and 4 days and I still haven't been checked to see if I'm dialed at all

With my first I was in the same situation. He told me if I went to 41 weeks we would talk about inducing. My daughter ended up coming at 40 weeks 5 days. But yes I agree every doctor and every pregnancy is different.

Depends on the doctor. Mine only let me go about a week past with my first.  Multiple women I know who have kaiser insurance have gone up to two weeks before they will schedule an induction.

Mine said if I made it to 41wks we'd go ahead and do a c-section.

They may schedule a date as backup plan, but it totally depends on your doctor! 
For example, mine won't let me go past 41!

Maybe!!! dr normally wait until a week past due to induce if u don't have any medical problems!
