Are you going to/Did you see your husband before you walked down the aisle?

When it came to my wedding, I wasn't very traditional about the whole "he can't see you before the wedding" thing. We spent the night before the wedding together, and we saw each other throughout our whole wedding day. We did most of the decorations, food, etc., ourselves, and without being able to see him, a lot of it wouldn't have gotten done.

A few weeks ago, my best friend and I were talking about wedding stuff, and I said something about seeing him before the wedding. She said, "Yeah, and you shouldn't have."

Did you see your hubby before the wedding? Are you planning on avoiding each other that day? Does any of it matter??? 😜

We woke up together, but them went our separate ways until the wedding. Pretty sure there are a shit ton of divorced couple who didn't see each other before the wedding.

In all seriousness, our first look was the most private thing about our wedding. The only thing that was "just for us" and I wouldn't have had it any other way.

My husband & I did a first look after we were all dolled up :) It was that best thing because it calmed our nerves! Plus I really wanted to do our pictures beforehand & our first look pictures turned out awesome because our photographer was able to capture the emotions & excitement. 😊

We didn't because everyone told us we "weren't allowed" but I wish we had. We had a late ceremony and afterwards I just wanted to get to the reception so we didn't get a lot of couple pics

We stayed the night together the night before, but once we got to the church to get ready, we didn't see each other until we did a "first look" photo shoot. Mostly because we didn't want to see each other until we were completely ready.

We're having a very much DIY wedding. He'll have a job to do there at the ceremony site. So we'll be seeing each other all day and doing the photos before the ceremony too. So the whole first look won't be as I come down the aisle.

We didnt talk or see each other for 2 weeks. It was hard. But special.

We're doing pictures first because it'll be easier to do in the park we're having it at before guests arrive.
