So I moved back to my home state to live with my mother and other family (I bounce back and forth) with my baby. I got evicted because the baby's father decides to stop working when we found out I was pregnant last January. Then when I went on maternity leave I personally had enough saves up for 1 month of bills. He still didn't go to work. I had to also surrender my car to get it towed from husband because he was trying to drive it without insurance or paying car payment. So I had to call my mom to drive 7 hours to get the baby and I. December I applied for ebt benefits in this state and called ohio to let them know I moved and to cancel everything and I explained that we were on a case with someone else. They said they canceled everything. I got in the mail a letter saying medical was canceled. I assumed ebt cancelation letter was coming. Flash forward apparently they never canceled ebt knowing that I moved. Which makes no sense because legally they had to cancel both. Now I won't have food this month. Husband (will be ex) will not send card so I can get some food because he wants to give the ppl be is bumming off of the ebt in exchange for their spare car. His excuse in not sending the card is that he doesn't want to get caught for fraud even after I told him my case worker said it's ok since ohio messed up not me. What can I do?? I literally have 12 packs of ramen left. This is totally unfair. All he had to do was work :,(
