How do you know when your baby is moving?

I'm 18 weeks pregnant and I don't exactly know what to watch out for when it comes to feeling my baby move. I know I feel something, like a throbbing feeling in my pelvic area but I don't know for sure if that's the baby or just muscule spasms.

I swear they see the bladder and think "oh look a trampoline!" I thought something was wrong with me because I only feel the bubble feeling down low below my belly button I'm glad I'm not the only one! Can't wait for higher stronger movement

I'm 20+5 & I have all kinds of movements, very low like you are describing. I first felt these at about 18-19 weeks & they felt like muscle spasms at first, but now it is obvious that it is baby! It's hard to tell at first, but they will get stronger!

At first it feels like gas bubbles
It wasn't until she moved more often that I just knew it was her moving. I'm about 22 weeks now and she's beginning to kick my bladder, so it's definitely not gas bubbles lol

I didn't feel anything until 18 weeks and was very unsure at first. Now at 20 weeks babe is moving all the time and I can tell for sure. Strong kicks can't be missed but it's hard to tell at first.

That's most likely the baby. That's what I had starting at 18 weeks. It almost feels like a muscle twinge. And now I feel it eveyday. It'll get stronger the further along you get. But that's also where I feel it. It's between my belly button and like pubic line (sorry if that's tmi)

At first they feel like butterflies in your tummy then you feel spasms, and when they really start moving it's like something rubbing on the inside of your skin like going across your stomach is indescribable but you'll know. Now at 19/4 for me when my little girl moves its tickles me a bit because it's like a soft movement but harder than what's it's been the last few weeks, like I can actually feel it even with my hand. Oh yea and she kicks my bladder a few times out of the day.lol so you'll know 💕

Same here I'm 23 weeks almost 24...and I started to feel the alien like movements in my lower area around 17 weeks it wasn't until about 20 weeks that he kicked one good time not only did he aim right but I peed my pants a little and started to tear up all at the same time...now he's all over the place but he has his days where he sleeps more some days then others.
