husband mad I won't wear random hand me down clothes

Ok so this is the weirdest fight I've ever had with my husband. We came into some money in November so told my husband that I want to go shopping for clothes after Christmas during the sales because I've lost a lot of weight after having our daughter and my old clothes don't fit me right anymore. I told him that can be my gift. He told me he wanted video games and a new console so I went out and spent almost $600 on him for Christmas. So I've been busy since Christmas and haven't been able to go out shopping for myself yet. So today my husband comes home from work with a bag of used clothes that his co worker gave him (including shoes) because she gained weight and they don't fit her anymore. Let me say he called me before he came home asking what size shoe I wore so I was expecting him to come home with a nice pair of running shoes or something. But he didn't. I was shocked. I told him I'd try wear whatever things I liked but I was really only being polite. Then I told him it made me feel weird wearing some girl I don't knows old shoes. He got SO upset and told me I was really ungrateful. He told me he saved us so much money because now I don't need to go shopping since these clothes fit. We have no reason to save money that way, especially since we just came into some in november! I didn't make him get a used console to save money! I'm so mad. I don't want to wear some random persons clothes! I want to go pick out stuff for myself especially since it's supposed to be my freaking Christmas present. Ugh. I can't believe I'm in such a weird situation. I have no idea why he's so mad. I spent so much money on him and he gives me hand me downs? I'm really upset that's all he thinks I'm worth. I don't know what to do😩
