metformin

So I took progesterone pills to start my period on the 29 of November and I started bleeding on the 2 of December stopped bleeding on the 13 ovulated on the 24. I been taking metformin since the 9 of December. Taken pregnancy test all negative I been having sore boobs now for a week and 3 days. Does anyone think since I ovulated super late I'm out this month and my period is just late ? I know it seems like I'm all over the place but my doc won't even call me back about these questions...
