does anyone else have issues with jealousy with their s/o?

I'm trying to work on not being jealous of my husband. About 7 months ago we were still dating and I really invaded his privacy and looked through his phone. I found him talking to his ex, she was saying she still loved him and he wasn't saying it back and said he was with me now, but that still made me really uncomfortable. We talked about it and he's asked me to work on being jealous and I'm really trying. Does anyone have any tips to quiet the anxious/untrusting side of me?

There's a line between jealousy and cautious. If your fella has never given you reason to doubt his loyalty then why should you? 
 As for the ex, it's out of line for her to intrude on your relationship but you need remember positions. She's his ex for a reason, just like your his current partner for a reason

Sweetie I gotta be honest. If her cheated on her to. BE with you don't be shocked if he cheats on you to be with someone else. The relationship started off with lack of trust to begin with. My ex. Stalked out a girl who did big girl porn. She cheated on her husband to be with him. He cheated on me to.bE with her. They got married. She cheated on him soooo many times and even came back pregnant. She used and manipulated him. Eventually they got a divorce and every time they would get in a fight he would contact me. Even after the divorce as well. Never going there with him, I have more respect for myself and will never take him back, what for him to cheat on me again, no thank you. But honestly if you don't trust the guy then you have no reason to be with him. What he gets bored or whatever he was with her and does the same to you? It's not a matter of jealousy or insecurity here sweetie. It's the fact that he has given you. NO reason to trust him. When he could do that to her. Why wouldn't he to you. This just sounds like heartbreak waiting to happen. Im sorry.

Well he should have told you his ex was talking to him the second he got a message from her. Whenever I get a message from a guy I tell my bf and show him the message then delete it and not respond if I know my bf wouldn't want me talking to that guy. Because trust is such an easy thing to loose and I want my partner to know he can trust me and visa versa.
