How to move out?

I want to move out of my parent's house once I turn 18. I have already started to save my money to do so, plus I have a job. How much is rent typically (I live in California)? Any tips? No judgments please

Just. Don't. 
Rent is not all you have to worry about, how about utilities, when something breaks in the house, food, water, clothing, transportation, insurance, etc.
Getting a new apartment so to say, is more than just a pad. It's a contract! Once you break that & mess up your credit then what?
You really shouldn't rush. And appreciate your parent(s) while you have them & living rent free. You can gain valuable knowledge.

I moved in with my boyfriend as soon as I turned 18, we live in Texas so rent for a 2 bedroom was about 554 ( he has 2 boys) but now that they are living with their mom we downsizing so rent will probably be around 4 something.

In my city an apartment with about two rooms is 2,000+. I Live in california as well. But theres other cities in california that ask for less rent .Fourty five minutes south from where I live theres a town and the rent is like 900$ for 3 bedrooms.
