doctors 😡

Hey I need abit of advice, I called my doctors yesterday to see if I can get an appointment (I'm 5weeks +4days) but they said I don't need to book an appointment? And I have to wait untill I'm almost 10 weeks and book an appointment with the midwife? To me this is silly because with all my family & friends they have their first appointment with a doctor to confirm to pregnancy so it's on record then they get a letter when they are almost 10 weeks informing them of their first midwife appointment? This means I don't get any of the vitamins untill 10 weeks unless I buy them from a separate pharmacy which I don't mind doing but it's abit out of the way from someone who doesn't drive & working nights 🙁
