5weeks bleeding after sex

Anybody experience medium bleeding after sex? My husband and I had sex last weekend and I started to spot and it got slightly heavier and then went back to spotting, I went to the ER but because I'm still early they could only do a HCG check and i went for the next test 2 days later I go back tomorrow for the results but I'm so nervous, the ER doc said as long as I wasn't bleeding we could resume sex and I haven't bled in 2 days so today we did and now I'm bleeding moderately again but no cramps or clots! Suggestions?
