planned parenthood??

I've been thinking about going to pp for awhile to start birth control/get tested/etc. I just want to know some of your experiences there and what to expect! Also I don't have insurance so I was wondering what stuff costs??

I recommend looking up your local health department clinic. Everything is based off income and I am getting my BC pills from there for free (I'm a broke college student) and I don't have insurance either.

Hi! I've went to pp for all my birth control needs. They have always been welcoming and so helpful. I was on the shot for awhile and that was only $30 every 3 months without insurance! And I just recently got the Paragard IUD from planned parenthood as well. Because of my low income and being a college student it was completely free. I definitely recommend going to pp for your birth control needs as I have always had a good experience. Good luck 🤗

I took my friend to PP to get a Pap smear and literally the worst part was the protesters outside who assumed everyone walking into the building was there for an abortion (oh, my Lord🙄). The staff was super nice and friendly! If you're scared of walking in, some PPs have clinic escorts that will walk with you into the building from your car. Good luck!
