Crib in master bedroom - When should we get the crib?

I'm a little under 16 weeks and my husband and I were looking at cribs. Wondering when everyone got their cribs. We're thinking about waiting until 32 weeks but maybe earlier since it'll be in the room?

I got mine at about 18 weeks because it was on sale. Plus, I had to make room in my bedroom for the crib. Even if you don't put it together you can use the crib box as reference of where you want it at in the room.

I bought ours when I was around 16 weeks, and have only got it set up when I was 28 weeks. Sometimes you just can't pass up a great sale!

We had ours up by 30 weeks (I'm also better at putting things together) & it's a good thing we were ready early cause baby came at 35 weeks

I'm due in 10 weeks and we still haven't put the crib back together to move it into our room. We will probably end up doing that when a few weeks before we are due, but as a Second Time mom, I'm doing a lot of things slower and differently this pregnancy as far as baby prep and all that fun stuff.

I got mine at about 28 weeks, but that's because it was Black Friday weekend! Haha. Assume it could take a week or two to get to you, and that you might put off putting it together for a week or so if you get busy. 32 weeks certainly sounds like a reasonable time. But keep your eyes open for good sales etc for the time being! It's worth having it sit around a little longer if you can get it for a good price.

I got mine 2 weeks before I was due but only because it was a gift that my dad brought to me and put together lol otherwise I would have gotten it way sooner

I purchased it but didn't have the hubby out mine up to my 34th week because my other two boys came early. I purchased it early to keep my anxiety under control.😃
