I'm considering a tattoo with my fiancé but I don't want his name or anything like that. Just something that reminds me of how he makes me feel and even if we aren't together forever, I could look at it and be reminded of how I feel right now.

We aren't married yet, but we talk about our future a lot. We have been together for a while, but at our 1 year mark my SO gave me a promise ring that has an infinity sign on it. 
We are both rock climbers so most of the time can't wear rings, so once we get married he wants to get an infinity sign drawn on our wedding fingers as our bands for when we can't wear our rings. 
But instead of just a plain infinity sign, we both came up with words to say to eachother, and those will be written as the lines of the infinity sign 😊

We like the idea of each getting a string or thread tattoo (some Asian cultures have a legend of a "red string of fate" that ties soulmates together - no matter how far apart they are or what hardships they endure, the string connects them and can't be broken.
