Preterm Labor- Fetal Fibronectin & Procardia
I'm 33 weeks and have had contractions 5-10 mins apart for 24 hours. I have been assessed by my OB (contraction and fetal monitors, pelvic exam, and the fetal fibronectin swab). The contractions were confirmed on the monitor. My fetal fibronectin was negative. My question is- has anyone else had this situation? Did you end up going into labor or was the negative accurate? Lastly, any experience with Procardia? I was prescribed that to stop / slow contractions and I am worried to take any unnecessary medications. If is strictly about my comfort, I would rather not.
