Should I or Shouldn't I ?

My boyfriend and I have been intimate for almost a year, and we have only used protection about 2 times; I havent gotten pregnant yet lol. We both totally though I was going to be pregnant this month but I tested negative and got my period, we where both bummed! I love him and he is who I want to be with FOREVER! He is 21 and I am 19, I am a Medical Assistant and he works in construction. We had agreed that this last time we had sex we where gonna hope to get pregnant but if I didnt I was going to get on birthcontrol and work out and get back in shape, but now that we found out I am not pregnant and I wanna get on birth control he doesnt want me too. ?
