Does your chance of miscarriage increase after you have had one?

Im reading mixed statistics and it's confusing me.

I'm currently 5w1d (going off of ovulation) and had a missed miscarriage at 13 weeks back in March. I'm so excited to be pregnant again but I'm a mess. I keep feeling "not pregnant" and worrying that I've had another missed miscarriage.

Trying SO hard to enjoy this pregnancy, but I am sure I'm not alone in feeing fearful.

It doesnt increase after one. I too had a mmc so I know how you're feeling. Its completely normal to feel the way you are feeling. I would freak out over every ache and pain and found it really hard to enjoy the first half of my pregnancy and grow attached to the baby because I was afraid to lose it. I am 32 weeks now and everything is going good. My advice to you is to relax and enjoy your pregnancy, even if you are scared shitless. This is such a beautiful experience and you dont want to miss out on it. Good luck with everything.

Try relaxing as much as you can. I know, easy said. I have been there. Total mess:-( one missed miscarriage, one spontaneous. Almost back to back. I thought to myself- now that I had both, what's left is either eptopic or blighted ovum. Or a successful pregnancy ending with still born. It was that bad. I was so scared it turned 99% of my thoughts negative. Everyone was telling me it was going to be alright and hardly understood my anxiety. I dreaded each scan. Cried when I heard the first heartbeat.Had all sorts of tests and nothing was found wrong. Survived my first trimester, thinking it was a miracle. Still the anxiety lingered around like a demon. Approaching my 20 weeks scan I nearly had a panic attack. It went just well. The further along I was, I was becoming scared about movements and kicks. Oh boy was that some journey!! And then I gave birth. And everything was just fine;-) I know how you feel. Nothing can help. Just trust that all will be absolutely fine. And it is in God's hands. Try not to stress, my doctor told me it wouldn't be good for the baby. Well, my girl is super calm and easy going lively child, by the age of 3 month she started sleeping through the night and doesn't even cry when I leave the room. She is now 4 and a half month. And that is something I couldn't imagine before. It will be alright;-) have faith 💪🏻❤️

I'm in exact same position MMC in July now 5 weeks pregnant again and feel like terrified of it happening again my symptoms seem to be reducing and I can't help but pick at everything I really don't wa any to go through it again

I have a 4 year old and i had 6 miscarriages in a row , im currently almost 8 weeks pregnant and feel so blessed. Just BELIEVE AND HAVE FAITH!!! Idk if your religous but if so pray pray pray! I know i did and i believe its because of god and nothing else!
